Therapeutic Approaches
I draw from a range of therapeutic modalities to support the unique needs of each client. While our work is grounded in talk therapy, I also offer approaches that engage the body, the unconscious, and the deeper symbolic narratives that shape our lives. These methods are offered gently and collaboratively — always at a pace that feels right for you. Each modality offers a different doorway into healing, whether it’s calming the nervous system, processing past experiences, building self-awareness, or reimagining the inner stories that guide your life.
Person-Centred Therapy
At the heart of my practice is Person-Centred Therapy, developed by Carl Rogers. This compassionate, client-led approach creates a safe and non-judgmental space where you can explore your thoughts and feelings freely. With empathy, authenticity, and unconditional positive regard, I offer a therapeutic relationship where your inner truth can emerge and where healing happens through deep listening and presence.

Interpersonal Neurobiology (IPNB)
IPNB is an integrative framework that explores how the brain, mind, and relationships shape our wellbeing. It emphasises the importance of secure, attuned relationships, both with others and with ourselves, as key to healing and resilience. In our work together, we may explore emotional patterns, attachment dynamics, and nervous system regulation using mindfulness, reflection, and practical tools to support greater empathy, emotional balance, and self-understanding.

Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT)
CBT is a structured, evidence-based modality that helps identify and shift unhelpful thought patterns and behaviours. Together, we’ll explore the links between your thoughts, feelings, and actions, and develop practical strategies to reframe limiting beliefs. This work can help you manage stress, build resilience, and develop more adaptive ways of thinking and responding to life’s challenges.

Somatic Work
Somatic therapy is an embodied approach that honours the wisdom of the body in the healing process. Emotions, memories, and trauma are often held in the body, and by gently attuning to physical sensations, breath, and movement, we can access and release tension, or unresolved experiences. This process fosters greater presence, nervous system regulation, and mind–body connection.

Mindfulness
Mindfulness is the practice of bringing non-judgmental awareness to the present moment.
It teaches us to observe our thoughts, feelings, and bodily sensations with curiosity and compassion. Practicing mindfulness can help reduce stress, improve emotional regulation, and deepen your connection to self and others. It's also a foundational tool in many of the modalities I use.

Narrative Therapy
Narrative therapy is based on the understanding that we live through stories—about ourselves, others, and the world. In our work together, we’ll examine the dominant narratives that shape your identity and explore new ways of telling your story that align more closely with your values, hopes, and strengths. This process invites transformation through re-authoring.

Archetypal healing engages with the universal symbols and inner characters — such as the Hero, Caregiver, or Sage — that live within all of us. These archetypes can reflect both our gifts and our challenges. By exploring them through guided imagery, creative work, and reflection, we can uncover deeper meaning, shift long-held patterns, and connect with the soulful intelligence of the psyche. Hypnosis is a deeply focused state of relaxation that allows access to the unconscious mind, where many beliefs and emotional patterns are stored. In this receptive state, we can explore the roots of inner blocks, reframe limiting beliefs, and support new, healing perspectives. Hypnosis can be particularly useful for fostering self-compassion, easing anxiety, and creating lasting behavioural change.

Meditation supports clarity, emotional balance, and inner stillness. Whether through breath awareness, body scans, or loving-kindness practices, meditation helps to quiet the mental noise, soothe the nervous system, and foster a grounded sense of presence. In our sessions, we may explore techniques suited to your needs, with the goal of building insight and inner calm.

the actor in it."
