Flower Essences
History of Flower Essences
Healing with flowers is not new. Flowers and plants have been used by many cultures throughout history to support emotional and spiritual wellbeing.
In 1932, Dr Edward Bach, founder of the Bach Flower Remedies, developed the modern method of preparing and using flower essences from the flowering plants of England. Since then, flower essence systems have been developed throughout the world using the unique flora of different countries and regions.
Flower essences are traditionally used to support emotional wellbeing and may assist during times of stress, grief, uncertainty, emotional overwhelm and major life transitions. They are often used to encourage greater self-awareness, resilience and personal growth.

Australian Bush Flower Essences
Australia is home to some of the oldest and most diverse flowering plants in the world. Long before European settlement, Aboriginal Australians held extensive knowledge of native plants and their relationship to health and wellbeing.
In the 1980s, Naturopath and fifth-generation Australian herbalist Ian White began researching and preparing the Australian Bush Flower Essences using Australia's unique native flora.
Today, Australian Bush Flower Essences are used throughout the world to support emotional balance and personal development. Individual essences are traditionally associated with particular emotional states and life experiences and may help foster qualities such as confidence, courage, forgiveness, self-belief, motivation, creativity and a greater enjoyment of life.
Flower essences can be selected individually or combined into personalised blends to support each person's unique circumstances and goals.
